Testing your Member Experience

Testing your Member Experience

While we don’t yet have a “Beta” environment, the best way to test your Intros Club is by running a live trial with yourself and a few other organization admins or stakeholders. We outline our recommended testing strategies under each of the Member Flows below.

Auto Matching

To trial your Auto Matching experience, follow the process below:

  1. Invite at least 2 members to your Intros Club (you can be one of them). You can do this by quickly pinging one other person the Join link for your Club, seen on the right-hand side of the screen in the image below:
  2. image
  3. Set your Opt-Ins to go out “near” immediately. We recommend the next available 15 minute timeframe.
  4. Shortly after your Opt-Ins send, check your email for the Opt-In. It will look something like below: NOTE: If you already opted in via your member profile (after joining the Club), then you will not receive an email.
  5. Set your Intros to go out “near” immediately.
  6. Within a few minutes of the time at which you had sent your Intros, your will receive an Intro in your inbox.

  8. Your Intro will include a scheduling link for you to test the Intros scheduler.

  10. After proposing times, be sure to notify your match in the trial, and have them also accept a time.

  12. When a time is confirmed, you will receive a Calendar invitation for that time

Testing Caveats & Good-to-Knows

Matching Rules + Member Compatibility

If your Matching Form is set up with hard rules (ex: MUST MATCH / CANNOT MATCH), the members who are testing the group must choose compatible answers in order to be matched together.

EX: If there is a Mentor / Mentee relationship being tested by two members, at least one member must choose mentor, while the other chooses mentee.

Don’t Delete Testing Members (unless you mean it)

When you delete a member, their profile is marked as Suspended. This is so that you can always protect your organization in case a member begins misbehaving! Suspended members will not be able to request to rejoin the community. If you want a member to “rejoin” after finishing testing, instead of deleting that member, simply send that member to their member profile to update their matching preferences.

Member Experience > Admin Experience

We know how important your member experience is to you, which is why we always prioritize that over the experiences of other admins! If 3 people sign up for a matching round, we automatically drop the admin from the round to ensure we can match the two members.
