Scheduling Through Intros
This page will cover various ways in which you can customize your scheduling experience on your member profile. You will also find two examples of the scheduling experience: One with scheduling preferences set, and one with scheduling preferences set AND auto-booking enabled.
Sign-in to your Intros Profile
There are two ways to access the magic-link sign in for your Intros Club:
- Head to https://intros.ai/
- Click “Sign in”
- Enter your email address associated with your Intros club (link to page)
- Head to your Club’s Matching form (it will look something like this) and select “Already a member?”
- Enter the email address associated with your club
Setting up your Scheduling Preferences
Once on your member profile, scroll down to the “Timezone” screen towards the bottom of the page.
Set your preferred time-zone
Set your available hours
By turning on the “available hours” and selecting times, you are selecting what hours your match will be able to choose from when proposing times to meet you. In the below example, my matches will only be shown time-slots to book between 9am-12pm EST on Tuesdays, and 3pm-7pm EST on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays each week.
What setting available hours looks like (example)
Example scenario: Lenna & Bailey are matched together. Lenna has set her preferred times (but has not enabled automatic booking). Bailey clicks the scheduling link first, and is directed to Lenna calendar.
Bailey sees all of Lenna’s preferred times to meet appearing in her local timezone.
Bailey selects multiple times he is open to connecting with Lenna, and proposes times to her.
Lenna then receives an email detailing the proposed times (she can also view them via her member profile).
Once Lenna books a time, a meeting invitation is then automatically sent out to both Lenna and Bailey!
Along with a Intros auto-generated calendar invitation and video link. Members will have full control over the invitation after it’s sent out, and can reschedule on their own OR via the Intros platform on the calendar link.
Enable Auto-booking
Members also have the option to enable automatic booking based off of their Available Hours. This means their match will be able to directly book a time (and a calendar invite will automatically be sent to both you and your match from Intros to notify you of the booking) rather than needing to propose time(s).
We will be releasing a Google/Outlook calendar integration by mid-May, which will then enable our auto-booking feature to act virtually the same as Calendly does.
What auto-booking looks like (example)
Example scenario: Lenna & Bailey are matched together. Lenna has set her preferred times and enabled automatic booking. Bailey clicks the scheduling link first, and is directed to Lenna’s calendar.
Bailey sees all of Lenna’s preferred times to book appearing in her local timezone. Once the calendar integration is released, the times that Lenna is no longer available on any given day will also be blocked out from booking (as they are with Calendly).
Bailey selects 5:00pm in her local time, and clicks “Book Intro”.
A meeting invitation is then automatically sent out to both Lenna and Bailey!
Along with a Intros auto-generated calendar invitation and video link. Members will have full control over the invitation after it’s sent out, and can reschedule on their own OR via the Intros platform on the calendar link.
