Inviting Your Members

Inviting Your Members

Intros offers multiple ways for your members to join your Intros club. If you’ve uploaded member data, you have the ability to customize the invitation email. This page will provide the information you need to get your members on board!

A. Enroll (or invite) uploaded members [preferred]

With this method, members will receive personalized emails.

Note: Member data must be uploaded before these invitations can be sent out. Navigate to the “Importing Member Data” page for more information.

Enrolling and inviting members follow the same steps:

Navigate to the “Kick-off!” step of your community checklist

Select “Customize & Send email invitations”

Decide enrollment method

Intros will provide you the number of profiles eligible for auto-enrollment. In order for members to auto-enroll, enough member data must be available for our matching algorithm to properly connect members together.

If you select “auto-enroll”, eligible members will receive the “auto-enroll” email, while all other members will receive the “invitation” email (both emails are customizable in the next step).

Customize email invitations

Edit the email text for the auto-enrollment email on the left, and the text for the invitation email on the right. If you are auto-enrolling all members OR inviting all members, there is no need to edit both emails; only the one your members will be receiving.

Test and send out email invitations

Send yourself test emails to confirm your emails are formatted properly. Once you’re satisfied with the end result, click “Invite”, and your members will receive the invitations!

Check member statuses

Members who receive the auto-enrolled email will automatically become active members of the Intros Club, and will show up in the “active” tab.

Members who receive the invitation email will show up in the “invited” tab on the “Members” page until they select “Join the community!” and complete the rest of their onboarding.

B. Manually post the join link

With this method, members will join your Intros club by filling out your organization’s join form (matchmaking form). Many admins choose to post this link in a Community Group Chat or Channel, while some embed the link in their emails and newsletters.

Note: We only recommend this option if you do not have your community member’s emails. The matchmaking form is not personalized to each individual person like the above invitation & enrollment emails are!

Navigate to the “Kick-off!” step of your community checklist for a templated example invite message:

Or simply copy this matchmaking link, and paste/send it wherever you’d like:
